My Conservation Sketching Expeditions allow me to visit African conservation organizations in the field to sketch and learn about their work first-hand. Seeing the organizations in action and learning about complex conservation issues inspired me to create a body of conservation-themed paintings which I use to raise awareness of the issues and funds for the organizations’ fieldwork.
