Epomophorus, Kenyan fruit-eating bats, acrylic by Alison Nicholls

Epomophorus, Kenyan fruit-eating bats, 16×16 acrylic on canvas.

I create Art inspired by the people, wildlife and landscapes of Africa. For several years I lived in Botswana and Zimbabwe and I return to Africa regularly to sketch in the field; work with conservation organizations; and lead Art Safaris for Africa Geographic. I make a donation to African conservation organizations from every purchase of my art: acrylics, watercolors, limited editions, and daily sketches.

Please feel free to browse my website. All of my work is available for sale, unless marked as sold, and many of my paintings are available as limited edition prints on paper or canvas. I answer all emails personally so please ask if you don’t find what you are looking for or wish to see additional images. I accept occasional commissions, and I’m also available to lecture about the fascinating intersection of art, wildlife and conservation.

To see my new paintings before they are posted anywhere else, please allow me to send you my monthly Email Updates. You will receive 1 or 2 emails every month containing photos and videos of my new art, travels in Africa, exhibitions and lectures.
Thank you for visiting!
